Important Changes to State Advocacy Activities  
As part of its strategic planning and budgeting process, the AAO-HNS is no longer tracking state legislation on a daily basis. Instead, to help strenghten our grassroots involvement and increase leadership opportunities, we transitioned our Board of Governors and Academy volunteers into a new role. The AAO-HNS continues to be involved in state coalition activities with the AMA, ACS, and other physician groups to help monitor state-based legislative proposals.
