Data is a critical component in today’s ever-changing healthcare environment. The Reg-ent registry harnesses the power of data to guide the best ENT care. Reg-ent, focused on quality improvement and patient outcomes, is an essential tool to advance outcomes in the specialty. It serves as the foundation for Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) reporting, measures development, research, and will contribute to members meeting Maintenance of Certification requirements. Whether you are a solo or group practitioner in private practice or if you are employed by a large academic medical system or health system, the Reg-ent registry has many benefits and services to offer.
For the fourth consecutive year, Reg-ent has been designated by CMS as both a Qualified Clinical Data Registry (QCDR) and a Qualified Registry (QR), allowing Reg-ent to support MIPS 2019 reporting. Reg-ent includes 22 otolaryngology-specific quality measures available for MIPS 2019 reporting and for use beyond MIPS. To learn more about the 22 specialty-specific QCDR measures contained in Reg-ent, as well as the additional 44 QPP measures, click here.
As noted above, there are many benefits of Reg-ent participation in addition to MIPS reporting and, as such, we support all our participants with providing their data to the registry and growing the data repository for research and quality improvement purposes. If you are not yet participating in Reg-ent, we invite you to learn more here and join today.
